Meet Jacob Munson

A lifelong Missourian deeply rooted in the values of hard work and community service. As a veteran of the Missouri National Guard, Jacob dedicated over six years of his life as a military police officer. He proudly serves as a member of the American Legion and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, continuing to give back to his community through various initiatives.

In addition to his public service, Jacob works as a sales manager for a local roofing company. He volunteers regularly with the Salvation Army and attends St. Peter's Catholic Church. Furthermore, Jacob serves on the Jefferson City Cemetery Resources Board, playing a crucial role in preserving local history and honoring those who came before us. Jacob’s life is profoundly shaped by his dedication to family, faith, and the community he calls home.

Expanding Access to Trade & Technical Education

Too many students are told college is the only path to success. I'll champion legislation that expands trade and vocational programs in Missouri high schools, creates more apprenticeship pipelines, and ensures students graduate with real-world skills and opportunities, not just debt.

Keeping Taxes Conservative

Missourians work hard for their money, and I believe that families and small businesses understand how to utilize it more effectively than the government. We must protect taxpayers while ensuring that essential services, such as community service and support for our veterans, are delivered efficiently.

Cutting Red Tape for Small Businesses

Local entrepreneurs are the backbone of our economy, but government regulations often hold them back. I'll work to eliminate unnecessary licensing, reduce startup barriers, and make it easier for Missourians to start and grow their businesses, especially in the skilled trades.

Empowering Parents Through School Choice

Every child in Missouri deserves access to a quality education, regardless of their zip code. I will advocate for legislation in the Missouri House that expands school choice, empowering families to select the best educational path for their children, whether it’s public, private, charter, or homeschool.

Defending the Second Amendment and Supporting Law Enforcement

I will always defend your constitutional right to bear arms and stand firmly against any attempts to erode that freedom. At the same time, I fully support the men and women of law enforcement who keep our communities safe and will work to ensure they have the resources they need.
